Day 2: A picture of you and the people you have been closest with the longest
It said "person," but I changed it to people. My siblings are amazing. I have learned so much from them, and they have shaped who I am. If I were to describe myself I would say, "I'm half Holly and Half Briana." I always tell people I have a "little brother," and then I have to correct myself because he's in college and becoming a man (weird). They are my best friends and my favorite people to be around (next to AJ, of course).
I love you Briana, Holly, and Jimmy!!

Ya dig?
So, in my attempt to turn blogging into a habit (they say it takes 2 weeks of doing something each day for it to become a habit), I'm going to do this awful 30 Day Photo Challenge. Please forgive me ahead of time. My creative juices don't seem to be flowing.
Day 1: A picture of yourself with 10 facts
1. I have THE best husband on the planet. Fact.
2. I've secretly always wished I was a ballerina.
3. I love the NBC Thursday night comedy lineup, and get mega bummed if I miss it. (thank goodness for hulu).
4. I would have a house full of animals if I could. However, I would never have a pet bird. Birds are gross.
5. I love the color teal. It's a fairly recent development.
6. I would like to move to Savannah, GA. It's warm there.
7. Our one rule in the house is: Don't leave your socks on the floor. Feet and socks disgust me.
8. I want to go back to school and get my Master's in Library Science.
9. I always lean towards cool and neutral colors. The entire apartment is green, white, ivory, or brown. It's an obsession.
10. I love being outside. That's an understatement. I thrive on being outside in the sun.

I belong in a warmer climate.
Today's musing:
I couldn't be more of a Summer baby. I spend most of Winter thinking about the warmer months. Some people love Winter and embrace the cold and snow (my sisters). I am NOT one of them. My theory is: it should snow on Christmas and then disappear and warm back up to Spring.
I am so looking forward to Spring. Last weekend, AJ and I stayed at a cabin in the middle of nowhere VA with friends. It was beautiful weather, and we were able to spend a lot of time outside hiking and enjoying the warmth. Today it is awful and rainy.
As the weather slowly starts to warm up, I am reminded that God promises Spring will always follow Winter. How encouraging to know that in the "Winters" of life, God always provides Spring.
